C-Flex® TPE Braided Tubing for Biopharmaceutical Applications
C-Flex® Braided Tubing Designed with the existing widely validate C-Flex 082 translucent resin, and reinforced with a Poliyester yarn C-Flex Braided is specially constructed to meet the critical demands of high pressure fluid processing in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications. C-Flex Braided Tubing is manufactured with C-Flex formula 082, clear, animal derived component free (ADCF) resin and reinforced with polyester braid.

The Material Difference
C-Flex® Braided is constructed of C-Flex 082 translucent ADCF (Animal Derived Component Free) resin, a commonly validated TPE material in biopharmaceutical applications, and reinforced with polyester yarn. It is compatible with steam sterilization and gamma-irradiation. C-Flex Braided is part of the family of Biopharmacetutical TPE tubing, offering the widest range of formulations and sizes, including translucent tubing for fluid flow visibility, opaque tubing for application when sensitivity for light is required and custom formulations from 50A to 80A durometer in both the United States and Europe.
Easy Validation Process
C-Flex® tubing is manufactured from C-Flex 082 thermoplastic materials and is fully characterized, validated and tested to a variety of specifications including USP Class VI, ISO 10993-3 (Ames Genotoxicity), ISO 10993-4 (Hemolysis, Indirect), ISO 10993-5 (Cytotoxicity, In-Vitro), ISO 10993-11 (Systemic Toxicity, In-Vivo) and 3.1.9 European Pharmacopeia. Extensive biological, chemical, physical properties and extractable testing performed on unsterilized and sterilized C-Flex tubing is available to assist in the validation of C-Flex application.

Sterilization Methods
Autoclavable - one time 30 minute cycle at 121°C
Radiation - up to 40kGy
NOTE: C-Flex tubing will deteriorate with repeated autoclaving. Radiation is the recommended method of sterilization for all C-Flex thermoplastic materials.
Manufacturing Specifics
The manufacturing process is carefully controlled from raw material through finished product distribution. Inspection and lot traceability information is readily accessible as batch numbers are assigned. All packages are identified by external labeling on both the bag and the crush-proof box.
